Designing and manifesting our ideal scene

Course Summary:
An online course to manifest personal and global healing and transformation through design and action.

Join Looby Macnamara and Jon Young for this exciting new online training where we will guide and empower you to design a pathway to manifesting your visions and goals in your personal, family and community lives. During our time together we will focus on how we can dedicate our energy to finding solutions for ourselves and the world. This will be a richly nourishing, empowering and truly life transforming course.

During the 7 weeks of this course you will be led through a design process to create your own personal design. The process will begin with activities and guidance about what project or area to design that will help move you closer to your ideal scene.

This course is designed to help us grow, shift through old patterns and beliefs, and support us in manifesting our dreams, while grounding this vision in a realistic design for ourselves.

Cultural Emergence Foundation Course

When: 23-25th June 2017

Where: Applewood Permaculture Centre, North Herefordshire

Facilitators: Looby Macnamara and guests

Investment: 

  • Concessions (limited spaces available for those on benefits, students and pensioners) £95
  • Low waged (under £15k/year) £130
  • Waged £160

The fees include food, camping and all tuition. There are limited indoor beds available in shared single sex dormitories for an additional small charge.

Course Summary: 

Humanity is presently at a time of mass cultural emergency; we see the personal, social, political and environmental problems as stemming from a lack of cultural understanding and cohesion. We believe there are tools that can help turn this around into mass cultural emergence; where abundance, gratitude, care and connection are part of our everyday culture. Emergence is a term used in systems thinking where 2 or more things come together with unexpected results. By bringing people together with these tools and methods we have the opportunity to ask good questions and to co-create answers and solutions and emerge the culture we want.

Cultural Emergence Deepening Course

Course Summary: This course is a follow on from the Cultural Emergence Foundation course. It is designed for participants to deepen the connection and understanding of the core routines and principles of Cultural Emergence. Participants will leave with a design for integrating Cultural Emergence into their lives at many levels. We will also be exploring how to bring Cultural Emergence to a wider audience to bring more breakthroughs in creating a life enhancing culture for all beings.

Social & Personal Design workshop

When: 19th Sept 9.30-17.00

Location: High Heathercombe, Dartmoor

An opportunity to bring a project or issue you’d like to do some work on, get a different perspective on. You will be guided through the permaculture design process and come away with a clearer vision, and some guidance from nature and the principles of permaculture on how to achieve that vision, through a facilitated process.

This is a powerful process that can really help shift your current situation.

I bring to this facilitation my 10 years permaculture experience, 31 Permaculture design courses taught, 7 years of permaculture diploma design tutoring, my passion about social permaculture, membership of Thriving Ways Collective and the many tools I picked up along the way (see other pages and offerings).

Costs: Full £65, concession £40

Who is it for: This workshop is suitable for people new to permaculture, though it will certainly benefit you to have some previous knowledge & experience.  Anyone who would like to work on an issue on their lives that can do with some new insights, different perspectives, moving through stuckness or a social / community project that needs moving forward.

What to bring: Lunch to share, notebook, large paper, colouring pencils/pens, some baseline info about your project if you have any, clothing for outdoors (waterproofs if wet, sunhat & screen if hot), anything else you need to be comfortable and resourced to focus on your design.
